Floyd returns to cause a stir in Fair City
Floyd Phelan is set to make a return to Carrigstown this weekend, causing plenty of drama for his family and neighbours.
Floyd, played by actor Jonathan Byrne, arrives back home on Sunday, soon after Brendan and Heather have decided to give their relationship another go.
As the pair embrace in the street after a celebration dinner, Heather spots a taxi pulling up and is shocked to see a familiar face from her past emerging.
But Floyd's real reason for returning to Carrigstown doesn't become clear until later.
Actor Jonathan Byrne said: "It's really exciting being able to join the No 1 Irish soap and stepping into the shoes of such a well known character like Floyd."
"Floyd's return is going to cause tension throughout Carrigstown with the upcoming storylines set to shock viewers."
